Hello! My name is Joni Cox-Thomas and I am a Speech-Language Pathologist for the Vidalia City School System. I obtained my Bachelors Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and continued my education and obtained my Masters in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Valdosta State University in 2013. I am a certified Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Georgia and also certified nationally with the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. By being a Speech-Language Pathologist I have the honor of helping students correct their speech sounds, increase students expressive and receptive language skills, encourage more appropriate pragmatic skills, increase fluency, teach students how to us an AAC device as a form of communication if needed, help with feeding/swallowing difficulties and so much more! 

Along with being an SLP I am also a mom, wife and daughter! I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, shopping and drinking coffee!
