Bio
My name is Fran Brantley and I have been teaching 9 years in public education. I started my teaching career working for the Department of Juvenile Justice as an Education Worker. I then taught 5th grade math, science, and writing at Cowan Road Elementary in Griffin, GA. My family moved to Vidalia during the summer of 2014 and I began teaching at Sally D. Meadows as a 3rd grade math, science, and social studies teacher. Last year I taught high school math in Toombs County and this year I will be back at Sally D. Meadows as a 5th grade virtual teacher.
I obtained my Masters of Arts in Teaching from Mercer University in 2012. More recently, I graduated in 2018 from Valdosta State University with my Specialist Degree in Teacher Leadership and Online Endorsement. I also have a Bachelor Degree in Psychology as well as Organizational Management. I believe one can never stop learning.
I am married with two wonderful boys. Donavan is 21 and graduated from Vidalia High School in 2017. My youngest son Gaige is 16 and is currently in the 11th grade.
I am looking forward to the upcoming school year.
